It is helpful to hear from those of you with spitty babies that found relief
with dietary changes. I have always wondered about this, never having had a
*spitter* myself (sorry if this sounds vulgar!)
Dee states (my emphasis * added);
I
agree with those who suggest that it can't be good for baby to be constantly
exposed to something that *makes him spit up large amounts and frequently*,
even
if the baby is smiling and happy<<
Is ths statement accurate? Can we ASSUME that because some spittiness is
alleviated by diet changes that it is always the food? What about anatomy?
I know this is one of my favorite soapboxes but......while musings are
interesting and even helpful, anecdotal evidence best not be treated as scientific
conculsion or we lose our credibility-no?
On a different note......Happy New Year to all!
I would like to echo the sentiments shared by the more ELOQUENT among us and
thank our lactnet community for the *invaluable* help and insight *you all*
provide! (geesh, its only been a short time but I already sound southern ;)!)
Thank-you also Kathleen (I think it was you!) for sharing Diane's truly
beautiful article on the bridge to breastfeeding.
Another WOW, in a long list .....from fellow lactnetters!
