Dear All,

We're delighted to announce that (as of 1 August 2004), the Department of
Archaeology has merged with the new Anthropology programme at Bristol
University, forming a new Department of Archaeology and Anthropology -
combining teaching and research in archaeology, social anthropology and
biological anthropology under one roof at the Old Baptist College,
Woodland Road.

The new website for the Department, with full details of faculty and
programmes, is now online at http://www.bris.ac.uk/archanth/
