A few weeks back, we had a discussion about which bottle nipples are
preferable when supplementation away from the breast is chosen or
necessary. Several responses indicated that Evenflo has ceased
manufacturing the Ultra or Elite, which had been well regarded by many. I
placed a call to Evenflo today and spoke with a representative who
reassured me repeatedly that they are absolutely being manufactured and are
listed on the newest price lists. He faxed me the marketing specification
sheets, stating that they can be purchased directly from the company for a
$500 (US) minimum order, plus shipping. I am not convinced the
representative I spoke to is correct, but I hit a dead end at his patent
insistence that they are available.
My question is to those of you who had heard they were no longer being
manufactured. Where or from whom did you learn this? I would like to know
definitely as I only want to recommend a product that is available for clients.
