Marie, I'll go along with you about breastfed babies rarely really having
colic (I also think a lot of misdiagnosing going on), but I
find it hard to agree about allergy (or maybe sensitivity is a better
word in this case) to maternal intake of foodstuffs. You know how it is
if you experience even one case to the contrary? I had this mother call
me many years ago. Her 9 mo old was still being exclusively BF, but had
broken out in a full-body rash. After going thru the usual questions of new
soap powder, baby powder, perfume, etc., I learn Mom had eaten an orange. I
told her to be careful of citrus fruits and didn't hear another word.
I am very interested in your clinic's protocols for oversupply syndrome.
