As I recall, it's pretty common to have some hair loss postpartum. My
exSIL's sister quit nursing her son because of this. Another relative who had a
baby around the same time and didn't nurse lost hair too! So next time she
didn't quit nursing when her hair started to "get thinner." Have never heard of
that supplement but wouldn't some extra calcium and EFA's help her hair? My
oldest daughter, the over-30 softball player, likes a supplement called "MSM"
which is advertised for "joint strength" but the benefit is that her hair is
stronger and thicker too.
