Or try the Horenstein LSO recording on BBC Legends.  My personal feeling
about the 8th is that tries to take off in part 1 but fails due to
rhetoric.  Only after the inner emotion beginning Part 2 can Mahler work
through the issues to finally soar (quite spectacularly) in the coda.
