I curious what you all advise in this situation. The mom I am working with
has a bad case of yeast (topical and ductal) and the baby has thrush. Treatment
is gentian, APNO, and mom is getting Rx for Diflucan today. Baby is gaining
slowly and taking small freaquent feeds. Mom needs to boost supply. She is doing
some pumping after feeds. Should she feed the EBM to baby while being treated
for yeast? Baby really needs the extra calories and the fresh breastmilk is
right there! I have heard conflicting ideas on whether to feed the EBM when
there is yeast. I have also heard some say it's okay when being treated
internally. Thanks, Heather
