I am told there is a chain of hospitals in my area that will not work with
women who test THC+.
The reasoning, as I understand it, is that the hospital will not be
responsible for helping a mother to transmit any illegal substance to her
baby. So no LC visits.
I don't know what their routines are on the floor should mom decide to put
babe to breast anyway.
Once she's discharged, the hospital has no more responsibility.
Phyllis
hoping someone from that chain can explain this better
