Dear Lactnetters,
I had a question from a mother (pregnant with her fourth child) who asked me
about the postitive effects of bf in helping a mother to recover from
pregnancy and birth. Specifically she knew about the effects on the uterus
in the weeks after the birth but was wondering whether there were long term
effects in preventing / reducing urinary incontinance if you breastfeed for
a longer period, past the first weeks. It got me stumped and was wondering
whether there is anything in this? I haven't ever read anything about this
and am also curious.
yours
