I work in a free standing Children's Hospital so we see all the infants born
in a large portion of Ohio who have what I think you are describing as
gastroschesis. There are a number of research articles that have been published about
the benefit of human milk to these infants. These infants are at very high
risk for NEC and feeding intolerances because of trying to stuff all of that
bowel into their abdominal cavity. If you are unable to do a PubMed search, let
