I must beg the creative minds of Lactnet for a name for a support group. I
have coordinated a support group for a year and a half now and have had
problems with attendence. The hospital has decided to try more advertising
and re-doing all the flyers etc. Needless to say the ad guy does not
like "Milk at Mom's" for a name for the support group. "It sounds kind of
cras..." He would like to call it "Support Group." I know, that is real
original :) My concern is that Mom's have said "why would I come to
a "support group" when things are going OK- support groups are for people
with problems." I very much want to promote breastfeeding as a normal,
healthy behavior and not be grouped with support groups that help deal with
unhealthy behaviors ie AA, NA etc. Please help before I end up
with "Support Group" as a name.
Thanks for all of you help!
