Hi all- I'm going to feel embarrassed for asking this but...
I got a free Avent ISIS in the mail to my office (I don't remember requesting it
but anyway)
I put it to my breast to try it out- now I am weaned several weeks (3 y/o party
next week!) and pretty dried up but can still hand express a few squirts
It didn't seem to generate any suction- it was screwed on to the bottle, I redid
it several times. I don't see any valves. (I've used a medela hand pump early
in my lactation.) There was some movement of the nipple. The flange seemed to
fit well. What am I doing wrong? Or is it just not effective on a totally
flacid breast? I didn't expect to see much milk- but I did expect some tugging
to my nipple which I didn't feel.
