I just wanted to comment on the Medela handout that
shows how to hand express. I have had many, many moms
interpret that handout to mean they pull their breast
out and squeeze. The pictures do tend to look that
way.
But having a mechanical pump company take care of explaining how to
handexpress is a bit like having a AIM company explain breastfeeding, isnīt it?
What does Medela gain by teaching moms proper ways to handexpress? It would
ruin their sales.
