"What about the very distinct possibility that the message was forwarded by
someone, who has registered on the list, but is a representative of
interests in opposition to breastfeeding? Even if the list is reconfigured
and closed, wouldn't it be likely that they could register and gain access
anyway?"
This is exactly what I believe happened and I am sure that the same folks
would still try to gain access again for more of such opportunities. How
would one check credentials? IBCLCs and LLLLs would be easier, but the task
would still be labor intensive. Non-IBCLC Health related employees would be
less easy, I suppose, and volunteers at health depts., etc that educate and
give bfing help would be extremely difficult to scan. Impossible might be a
better word.
