The neos were initially somewhat open but have since decided that they are not
comfortable with using donor milk. (Ironically, another hospital within the
same large system is
planning to open a milk bank within the next month or two!)
For heaven's sake test the donor mom, and give the baby the milk--even while
she is still hospitalized. Fortify it if necessary. That's my unofficial
opinion. It seems like the least that could be done as a final gift for this
dying mother, not to mention the health benefit to the premature baby.
