Hi, Linda and Others: I would never tell a mother to do this, but I had
given the ingredients of APNO to a mother so that she could have her MD
write a Rx for her and she called me back a few days later to tell me that
she was not able to get hold of her MD. She looked around her house and
made up her own APNO from some hydrocortisone cream, neosporin ointment and
some Monostat cream. I have no idea what concentrations she used, but she
said it worked wonders! Talk about necessity being the mother of invention!
On another topic. Here in Illinois, all the talk is about the bill signed
by our governor "allowing" breastfeeding in public places. I think I will
put in my application at the local gym ( the gym whose breastfeeding
policies led to this bill!) to get a job folding towels after listening to
the mostly asinine comments from call-in listeners on some of the radio
stations about this topic. Sheesh!
