Judy, Dr. Wood's comment does not convince me that there is solid evidence
of serious risk from Domperidone. I will tend to believe Dr. Hale and the
European community on this one.
Our FDA is in bed with the pharmasuitical industry and they are prone to
rule in their favor. In a perfect world, the FDA would be totally unbiased but
it will never be a perfect world. :-(
I think what we in the lactation community can do is continue to press for
evidence based answers and press the agencies such as the FDA for solid
research and not "just trust me on this one" answers.
