In our Lactation Consultant Prep Course, Linda Kutner and Carole Peterson  do
a role play about how to teach formula feeding....By the time Linda has
finished discussing well water, tap water, high rise apartments, proper
preparation of formula, cleaning bottles and nipples, choosing the right  formula, and
a myriad other things, you will KNOW it is easier to  breastfeed!
I do think we have an obligation to teach correct formula feeding -- after
all, while we may be lactation consultants, we are also infant feeding
specialists.  If we don't teach it, who will?
