Diane, I suggest that you supply each of these particpants in this medical
horror story with a copy of the excellent info from MA BF Coalition. This
could have been, and still could be, a tragedy. Cardinal rule #1. Babies
want to eat (breast or bottle fed!) A baby who is not eating is in TROUBLE.
Also each medical person needs to specifically be told where they were wrong
and why.
What a cascade of errors! I'm just sitting here shaking my head that each
of these professionals "didn't get it" and compounded the problem with wrong
information! If this baby dies from dehydration or overwhelming sepsis,
what will be blamed? Breastfeeding, of course :-(
