I just wanted to reply to your email about the ameda pump. I used a PIS for
my 2nd baby, and it was ok, for my 3rd the pump caused me great pain on the
lowest setting. So I went to my hosp. LC's and tried their Lactina to see if
that was better, it was aweful. I tried a Purely Yours and it was wonderful!
No pain, lots of milk (15 oz a pumping). Since then I have found many, many
women who couldn't use the Medela pumps, but loved the Ameda pumps. Even
though your post wasn't meant for Lacnet eyes, please be careful as not all
women, and where I have found, a lot of women can't use the Medela pumps.
Now I agree that the PY shouldn't be used for a preemie momma, but it's just
fine for the working momma.
