On 5/8/04 NPR (National Public Radio-in the US) did a segment on their
program "Sound Money" about working and breastfeeding. The description on
the NPR website reads:
"Research has found that babies who are breastfed get fewer illnesses in
childhood. Because of that, the government is trying to encourage women to
breastfeed their infants for longer. But some moms find that trying to both
work and nurse make that a difficult goal. Reporter Julia Barton has more"
I missed hearing the segment--I've been unable to play the audio on my
computer (operator error?) and don't want to pay for a transcript. I'm
curious if anyone heard it and roughly what did they say?
