Permission to post from mom.
Mother of 12 month old who was 100 pounds pre-pregnancy and is now 91 pounds. She has had ongoing problems with Vit D deficiency and scoliosis. Current medications include Methocarbamol 750mg that she takes every morning and prenatal vitamins. She also drinks one EnSure before going to bed at night.
Toddler is nursing 5-6 times a day as well as "all through the night" according to mom. She also eats table foods and drinks beverages from a cup. Mom's primary card Doc has advised her to quit nursing in order to preserve her own health. Mom's goal was to nurse for two years and she is very ambivalent about weaning.
Suggestions? Thoughts?
