A good friend and I are starting a business and are having obtaining
business insurance because we will be both retail and offering classes, in addition
to pump rental. We are finding that if we are 'retail' then we cannot get
insurance to cover people coming to our 'store' to take classes. Our first
store is to be in southern NJ and the second in upstate NY.
We have talked to insurance several companies, to four businesses like ours
(their recommmendations won't work for us), have four separate insurance
agents looking for us AND have filled out several Internet "find the right
insurance" forms. So far, nothing.
I know some of you who do pump rental must also sell items AND teach.
Please help.
