Hi my name is Joanne Vlasic and I have just subscribed to Lactnet for the first time.My interest in breastfeeding started when I studied midwifery in 1987 and has contuinued to grow as I had each of my beautiful children (14,11,6). I have been an ABA counsellor since 1995 and work as a child health nurse at present. I successfully sat the IBCLC exam last year. Many of my colleagues have subscribed to Lactnet over the years and extolled it as a source of fascinating and free flowing discussion from world wide sources. I am looking forward to joining in.
