You don't want to get me started on nativity scenes - I collect them :-) A
few years ago I decided not to buy any more, only do stitched scenes. I did
a lovely pattern with Mary holding baby Jesus in quite the natural position
for nursing so instead of doing the cute little face (with baby Jesus
looking at the world) I french knotted little curls for the back of his head
as he nurses peacefully :-) Which I always point out to people that this
is my nursing baby Jesus picture :-) Of course I get the usual moan, groans
:-) But I love it. BTW: most of my scenes have Jesus being held by Mary.
I wonder if I am attracted to such scenes on a subconcious level ? I always
set the scenes up with everyone in a circle around Mary, looking at the
baby. Just think, she wouldn't have been embarrassed about nursing in front
of strangers :-) Sincerely, Pat in SNJ
