Hi! from Florida
I have a daughter who has Hashimoto's and she lives in New York (way out
Island) and she recently breastfed my granddaughter for 4 months. She took a
while to get her initial pregnancy values under control, but had no problems until
after she weaned to return to work and her endo dropped her synthroid. She
was a great producer of milk but once Cara started weaning her milk dropped
quickly. Now she has problems getting her levels at this time under control.
She will be seeing her endo in October. No one ever told her not to breastfeed.
Hope this helps.
