Over the years I have participated in several Baby Fests at Babies R Us.
In the couple of stores we set up a table we were well received-especially
by the Manager of the store who felt women should "know about
breastfeeding". Because I had a young nursling the last time, they even
accomodated me with a glider at the table. A few times there was an IBCLC
who also had a table. My opinion is such that the more people are exposed to
breastfeeding in a bottle feeding culture, the better.
But, keep in mind that while talk it good, most people who attend these
things expect freebies. I would suggest giving out tear-off sheets,
pamplets, pencils or magnets with your name on it, etc whatever you can
splurge on.
Good luck!
