We have more in common with most HCPs ( the non-MDs) than we think. Many PTs,
OTs, prosthetists, etc. also suffer the same frustrations with MDs who are
not experts in the HCPs area, yet believe they are, or simply see them as
"following the orders" of the MD, instead of members of a healtcare team ( which
includes the patient/client as well, another fact often forgotten by some MDs.)
Judy LeVan Fram, Brooklyn, USA, who has offered the following tip to her
husband, a certified prosthetist often referred to as a "vendor": Ask the person:
Do you see me selling any soda? :)
