I don't know anything about the availability of pumps in Tuscany, but
Medela's home is in nearby Switzerland.  If she can connect with them,
they can probably steer her to pumps in Italy, or she can at least get a
Symphony from them in Switzerland with the correct electric connection.
Medela USA can give you the contact info for Switzerland (and maybe for
Italy).
