I am working with a mom and newborn. Mom has history of varicose veins and
while in hospital after C/S had some swelling and pain in leg. Did ultrasound
to r/o DVT, but advised to take 1 Baby ASA per day to prevent problems. When
OB saw this, he advised against baby ASA. Suggested "just keep an eye on your
leg."
Is this overkill? Is it ok to take 1 baby ASA?
Thank you, Loretta Haycook, RN, IBCLC
