Jan and Winnie have just written about hearing bad breastfeeding
information. I'm interested to hear if others have found a way to deal with
retraining "the old guard". My first thought was to have such people
assassinated :-) but obviously they are *reaching* new mothers, so they
could do SO MUCH GOOD with the right information. But how, how, how to get
it into their heads?
I have found that the very people we are concerned about simply will not
come to the workshops offered - well, guess that's how they got the way
they are. And while we are organising and attending workshops, it appears
that they are hauling in the clients....
Jan, what, if anything, can you picture doing to improve antenatal
instruction in your area? Ah, the purple duct tape wasn't for you!!!
