Although I think this episode gave an adequate explanation of the main risk
of breastfeeding with AIDS in a refugee camp with no clean water, I think it
also left the impression that the ONLY risk of formula feeding comes when
you don't have a safe, reliable clean water supply.
So it reinforced the myth that formula feeding is only a health risk in
developing countries (due to lack of safe water supply), and that here in
North America, its "great stuff" in the words of the american doctor.
