Please check the archives for several posts (started in july/aug 03) about
how the LCs at my facility were barred from seeing pts by a pediatrician. It
went all the way to the Chief Nursing Officer and CEO and the doctor wins,
even if the pt requests to see us, and even if the doctor was "on call" and
not the regular pediatrician (mother's ped does not come to this hosp).
