I know....I didn't actually intend the teens and laundry basket
comparison as a serious contender for new mothers (heavens, they have
enough to cope with.....wouldn't dare tell 'em the full facts about
teenagers!!). According to my colleague Sheila Company, it's probably
sweet peas and not anemones that are the 'cut and come again' flower,
too.....but yes, how many young mums are gardeners?!

However, I think I might use the laundry basket for teaching
healthcare professionals, many of whom do have experience of
teens...and some of the young recently-qualified docs I teach twice a
year (and truly, they know less than nothing about bf,  yet are being
deferred to on postnatal wards - yikes) might still be in that phase
of life themselves :)
