I picked up this comment, probably from LN, but don't know to whom I
should credit it.  Whoever you are, please speak up.
Parents really perk up and seem to have an "aha" moment when I point
out that asking the early (even a couple weeks early) infant to act
like a full term infant is like taking a final exam a few weeks
before finishing the course.    You will probably do fine on some
questions, but for others you will be at a loss, or only have
limited information with which to formulate an answer.  Unlike the
final exam, however, with the near-term infant it's not immediate
"pass" or "fail".  They can catch up, but may need some help and
extra patience initially while they are learning.
