Why can’t warming NICU milk be made simple? The feeding, prepared in a
syringe or bottle, can be warmed under warm running tap water or placed in
the infant’s warm isolette just prior to feeding. For those NICU’s that
keep cups for warming feedings for 24 hours, is that cleared with infection
control? I am hesitant about keeping containers around for any period of
time, especially when water is involved.
