How can someone write a book that is ridiculously inaccurate and has a
large potential for harming people?  Easy.  The point of capitalism is
to figure out what product people will pay for, and then sex it up to
get maximum demand.  It's just like making up some new phony diet and
selling millions of books and diet products.  One needn't have any
expertise; having initials after one's name just makes it easier to
get a publishing contract.  Repairing the damage Cohen is causing is
just like cleaning up after the Ezzos, Ferbers, and Pearls of this
world. While doing so gives us a chance to do some real education, I'm
afraid there's no way to undo all the mischief they cause.
