Hello, All.
I have read a couple times in just the past week that IBCLCs make
in-home visits. While some do, some of us have offices where we see mothers and
babies. Please, when talking to moms about finding an IBCLC, please state that
"some" IBCLCs do home visits and "some" have offices, but all are
professionals with a wealth of helpful knowledge. That way, moms won't be disappointed
if the IBCLC in her area does office consultations, rather than in-home visits,
and the IBCLC won't be made to look as though she is doing something wrong.
Thanks.
