So the powers that be who are squelching the ad campaign are concerned about
mothers feeling guilty if the don't breastfeed and their child develops a
serious illness later. Well, then...what about the scenario of formula arriving at
the door of a mother who lost her baby at birth or late in pregnancy. Aren't
the formula companies concerned about this??? I mean apparently their whole
objection to the campaign is that they fear it's tactics may be upsetting to
these poor mothers right? Then they certainly wouldn't object to stopping the
timed arrival of formula at the doorstep of a new mother. This could be
upsetting, stir up emotions, or even (gasp) guilt! We know they wouldn't want that
since the welfare of the mother is their primary concern. Heather Dana
