I've been wondering lately how other LC's in private practice charge (or not) for follow-up visits. The comments from Dr. Cohen about moms being "drained emotionally and financially" made me wonder how others may charge for repeat visits when they are necessary. Is it a percentage of the initial fee or are all necessary visits included with the original consult fee? If a mom needs long term follow-up (other than just by phone) what does everyone else do regarding fees? Do you ever find that a mom will not agree to further visits due to the cost?
Thanks,
