OK, I'm for changing my vocabulary. Quit saying "breast milk" (& variant
spellings), and begin saying "human milk" or "mother's milk" or
"mothermilk".
So now what do we call the act of enabling baby to take the milk? Do we
still say "breastfeeding"? Didn't it used to be just "feeding" prior to the
mid-1800's?
What did the various historical baby care & popular press books say? How
about the sacred books of the largest religions?
