Everyone, just think of the last few days *without* Lactnet....

There would have been no way for so many people to know about the
effective, charming, formula reps (sales staff) who influenced the
President of the American Academy of Pediatrics (and his cohorts) to oppose
the education of the public on the health risks of infant formula to our
nation's infants. There would be some who would have received the
information from the Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine. But a broad
dissemination would have been very slow, very limited, and probably too
late to be effective.

So, my deepest "Thank You" to you listmothers who have persevered in your
leading us in this most valuable network.

And my deepest "Thank you" to Dr Gartner and the entire ABM, especially
including Nancy Wight who alerted us this week.  The health of our nation,
and beyond, is at risk and you are defenders of our children.

Also my deepest "Thank you" to Marsha Walker who is relentless in her
efforts to educate and guide as many people as will listen, to the threat
of infant formula to the health of infants everywhere.
