Although (or because) I use homeopathy as a first course of treatment
when I feel under the weather, I just wanted to mention that the choice
of homeopathic remedies depends on the person (likes and dislikes,
fears, etc.) as much as the details of the symptoms (time of day they
are worse, etc.). Oscillococcinum is a combination remedy, so that it is
not quite as "person-specific" as a single-remedy or classical
homeopathic remedy. However, whatever I have responds better to my
constitutional than to a combination remedy.
I realize that there isn't enough research on homeopathic treatment to
consider it evidence-based, so I'm just speaking anecdotally here.
