Dearest LactFriends:
Remember the lovely German study, that looked at children up to about age
6? It found some nice relationship between breastfeeding and obesity. And the
Gillman et al study in JAMA 2001; p. 2461......."Risk of Overweight Among
Adolescents Who Were Breastfed as Infants". More human milk, more breastfeeding,
less overweight up to age 14.
Think about it. How could the natural, normal way to feed a little human
make them obese in the future? Obesity is a threat to life, not an essential
condition.
