While catching up on months' worth of old Newsweek issues this weekend, I
came across a quote that was attributed to Gandhi. What with the recent
threads on nurse conversations, less-than-baby-friendly Girl Scout
leaders, erroneous magazine articles, and, of course, the Ad Council
campaign, I thought everyone else might appreciate it, too! You may have
heard it before (I think Howard Dean is using it):
"First they ignore you. Then they laugh at you. Then they fight you. Then
you win."
At least we're at step three!
