Dear Lactnet, I am working on a project with fellow MD, LC's, pharmacy,
etc on developing a guideline or protocal on the issue of breastfeeding
and use of antidepressants with either premature or full term babies. This
would  be available  for the Pedis and ob to use in deciding whether the
mom should pump and dump or not. Many times the staff nurse gets caught in
the middle because no one can agree on what to do.
We do realize that it is very hard to generalize for every situation, but
if anyone has worked on this issue I would appreciate your input. Thank
