I just wanted to thank those who responded to my seemingly simplistic
question from my sister about the value of offering only small amounts of
breastmilk. Because she told me that she never liked the idea of nursing,
and that the baby was "so much happier with the formula" - I figured I was
in a sense being set up. I don't know what information might be compelling
enough to actually convince her of the value of sticking with it longer,
as she has that frustratingly familiar belief that "we were formula-fed
and we're fine"...but we can try, can't we?
Warmly,
Marjorie Vera
