Hi Everyone,
I just have to let the Lactnet list know that another of us has become a proud grandma! Actually, the new mom is also a Lactnet member and has posted several times. Charity Pitcher-Cooper, my daughter-in-law, gave birth yesterday (Thanksgiving Day) at home to an 8 pound 10 ounce beautiful baby boy! He was actually a footling breech birth, which made his grandma nervous, but everything went smoothly and Charity did an awesome job! He's been nursing like a pro (except for some early "chomps") and even had his first transitional stool at 20 hours of age! His name is Izaiah John Rogers. We couldn't be more thrilled and Thanksgiving had a very special meaning for all of us this year!
