I contacted Mary Applegate of the NYS Dept. of Health with this same
question. She did not know of any schools using the curriculum.
I agree that the curriculum could be better, but I would still like to see
it used in schools! It seems rather non-threatening to me and it's better
than nothing. I wrote to my own school district about discussing the
curriculum and the importance of implementing it, but have been ignored.
I'm planning on calling for follow up to see why they haven't acknowledged
my letters.
