Am I right--this ped is simply concerned that the baby is too fat? He has no other cause for concern? If I see a mom has a very rapid flow of milk and/or over-supply and if the baby has an irregular pattern of stooling, and the baby is very big, then I consider an imbalance in fat vs lactose.Otherwise, where is the science behind his concerns? I have a friend who had three babies just like this one, all who are now tall and lean. She has since had a 4th baby, with a different dad, and very different growth patterns. Sounds like genetics to me.
